The superior double room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was airy with new mattresses on all. The location was ideal, near the shops at the other, the nearest bus stop and the train station and main high street and easily accessible. Boscombe district was worth staying in.

The location was marvellous, really close to the train station and main high street, a smaller establishment and the beautiful seaside, and the free parking was an excellant bonus. Fisherman's Walk Beach was 200 metres from the hotel.

I would love to stay here again, loved the city and hotel. I would say it's excellent base for staying and exploring Bournemouth. The staff are great and the location is amazing to the beautiful seaside.

I was offered a savoury breakfast with decent sausages. The bed was very clean and the room spotless & brand-new. Booked the hotel for its stunning and excellent location very close to the bay, and Southern Breeze Lodge since shortly after Noel. Also, Shelley Park was 2 km away.

All in all, it was welcome base for travelling to Bournemouth. The hotel room was bright and impressive with new mattresses and tea plus nautical-themed decor. The staff were affable, great. The location was marvellous and fab in Southbourne shopping area. The restaurant had fresh food.

I had a lovely time here and would love to stay here again. Loved the place, it was lovely old and worked for me. The rooms were large with lovely extras and comfortable bed plus new mattresses on all, the breakfast was savoury. The setting was amazing, not far from the cliff top as well as beach and high street.

We greatly enjoyed southern breeze lodge. It took 15 minutes to reach Boscombe Beach on foot. The restaurant was located within 400 metres. Super base for a holiday in Bournemouth;))
